P&C

Kooringal Public School is renowned for its quality education experiences and extracurricular activities. Much of this success is due to the active involvement of the P&C Association.
Each year we like to welcome new parents to have the opportunity to assist in the development of our children by joining the P&C Association. With joining, this allows you to meet other parents as well as helping to raise funds for our much needed resources. If it is not possible for you to join the P&C Association you can still contribute by baking for cake stalls or helping on any stalls or barbeques when required.
A few examples of resources that have been purchased from 2015 onwards from fundraising are new readers for the Kindergarten and Year 1 students, a new play area with synthetic grass which has a hopscotch pattern, the introduction of Literacy Pro for the Stage 2 and 3 students, a donation of $3,000 for the purchase of new sports equipment, uniforms for the school's representative sporting teams and a contribution towards the back bus shelter.
The P&C Association meet once a month (the third Tuesday of the month in the school staffroom). We discuss issues around the school, fundraising opportunities, etc. It is a great way to find out what is happening in our school and it allows you to you have your say.
The P&C also have two Facebook pages for you to follow to keep up to date on all events run by the P&C and for the Canteen:  Kooringal PS P&C and the Kooringal Public School Canteen. You are also able to email the P&C directly on admin@kpspc.org
We welcome you to attend a meeting or assist where you can.
