Netball 2014
On Friday our team of nine players attended the annual Netball Gala Day. We had a great day, playing four matches. Our opponents were Wagga Public, Lake Albert, The Rock and South Wagga. We started with three solid victories but went down in the final match to a strong South Wagga team.
Once again, the girls were a delight to coach and we had wonderful support from parents and grandparents. Congratulations to our shooters; Eled Absolum, Amelia Caller and Aaliyah Fikkers who combined well and shot with good accuracy. Our centre court players; Eilidh Lucas, Jaime Esler, Courtney Ede and Amy Martin who worked hard to get a ball safely down the court and our defenders; Chelsie McEwan and Ella Scott who got many intercepts and deflections. The team looked very professional and received many serveral compliments about the uniforms purchased by the P&C.
